Well with winter around the corner we all know what that means...lets hear your plans for this winter

-Body work (i.e. aquire driverside fender and front bumper, then paint all).
-Add more security components.

if I'm lucky install my NEW FABULOUS INTAKE MANIFOOOOLD!!!!

(why am I holding off on install? I need to port match and add throttle body too.)

Oh also if you happen upon some rb25det parts like a good intake manifold or something..bring it back...or a r31 skyline...you can bring that back too

No no... Dude r1 owner is in the states... Im going to pick it up while im on leave

Theres a reason why i had to let go of the last fd man... It was gonna cost me an additional 20g to bring it back, alex never told u this?

i did a shit ton of research last year... called up an RI to set it up, and thats what he told me... shipping may be free from the airforce side... its the registration part that would cost up to 20g. Crying or Very sad

okay guys i want to see where we're all at with our plans

so far for me:

bought the rb and brought it over to vinny
nexus gauges ordered and on their way to me
gtr push button start in my basement
front brake upgrade+rear disk swap also in my basement
new intercooler + radiator at vinnys
dashboard with interior also at vinnys
new radio *thanks alex* with vinny
ordering speakers and 280zx rear calipers soon

So... "winter is coming"... hahaha ok anyways

what is your plans for winter and onward to 2015? and did you meet up to your expectations from last year?

I wanna say no... i fell short on my plan, the restoration job for the FD cost a lil more than what i expected... 2014 was suppose to include sway bars... but my direction has changed, sway still wont be included in 2015's plan either

my plans for winter and going towards the end for 2015

power... the year of power has come

- Apexi Power FC
- Apexi Power Intake
- HKS Downpipe
- HKS Hi Power Exhaust
- Resonated Midpipe

total comes to 3000ish, including a bit for leeway.

im still within my budget, it leaves me approximately 1500 to spare... im thinking of steering wheel upgrade. For sure, my quick release will be by Works bell... idk what my wheel would be from yet... im going to try to find something rare, but i might settle for sparco

The year isn't totally over but my only plan I have is to tune the God damn Civic. Otherwise, the only new plans is finish the body of the Civic. Just remove all dents and get the car resprayed with Matte or Satin clear coat. Yes through the winter again.. Haha! Or save money til it gets warm again. Wink

Not sure what to expect with winter in northern Texas. I'm in formed that it"s all primarily ice and snow tires won't do any good. So my plan: survive, do as little driving as possible, & keep it in the Lexus.
